Physical And Chemical Properties
- Physical Property: Properties associated with the different states of matter. There could be changes in states but no new substance is formed. Change from solid to liquid, liquid to gas, gas to liquid, solid to gas etc. can be considered as physical changes.
- Chemical Property: Properties associated with changes occurring to substances, usually we say a new substance is formed. When this happens there will be change in color, texture, density, smell, solubility, taste, melting point or even physical state. Any one change is good enough, all the mentioned changes is not a requirement.
